High Tensile Load Binders
Not to be used for Lifting.
Drop Forged with Chain Hooks.
High tensile load binders are devices used to tighten chains to secure cargo for transportation. There are two types of load binders: ratchet, and lever.
The ratchet load binder uses a ratchet mechanism to create tension in the chain. It has a ratchet handle and two tension hooks on each end. Because it doesn’t store much energy in the handle, there is less risk of the bar recoiling or snapping, making the ratchet binder a safer option.
The lever load binder has a tension hook on each and that uses leverage to tighten the chain and secure cargo. Because of their simple design, they are easy to install, however, more energy is stored in the handle, requiring more strength to tighten.
